he 2010 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrieres displays a touch more precision on the nose than the 2010 Les Gouttes d’Or, opening wonderfully in the glass. The palate displays impressive weight and girth in the mouth allied with fine tension and subtle notes of walnut and spice toward the solid finish.
A delicious, complex effort, the fully mature 2000 Lanessan offers notes of cedarwood, plums, loamy soil, and damp earth, medium to full body, plenty of spice, and a classic Bordeaux personality.
The 2007 Langoa Barton has an attractive bouquet with blackberry, autumn leaves, truffle and salted licorice scents that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a harmonious entry and a gentle grip in the mouth.

A dark ruby color is accompanied by crisp acids, sweet cranberry, black cherry, and darker fruit aromas, and a clean, pure, classically built, medium weight Pauillac. Still firm and tannic, this medium-bodied, elegantly wrought wine.
Much deeper in color than other vintages, it has a mature, almost tropical mango and passion fruit nose that feels a little one-dimensional. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth on the entry, a little waxy in texture with nutmeg and dried honey notes on the mature, Tokaji-like finish.
A soft, easygoing wine, the 2003 La Lagune displays lots of balsam wood, black cherry and earthy notes. Dark ruby-colored with a pink rim, it is a lively, fresh Haut-Medoc with some acidity in the background.
Dense ruby/purple, it tips the scales at 15% natural alcohol and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Full-bodied in texture, it offers up loads of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry fruit intermixed with some cedar, vanilla and a touch of spring flowers. Impressively built, with good acidity and light tannin.
ts deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet black cherry, scorched earth, and camphor notes, a sweet, rich mid-palate, medium to full body, and excellent purity as well as depth.
It has a perfumed, quite feminine bouquet with wilted rose petals infusing the red berry fruit. This seems very composed and refined. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, fine focus and plenty of freshness and vigor towards the lightly spiced finish.
The wine has retained a cool climate high acidity, giving it a more compressed personality than I had envisioned. The color remains a dark ruby/garnet, but the nose has taken on a more vegetal, earthy note to go along with the new oak and sweet red and black currant personality.
